Parliament has confirmed three key ministerial nominees: Haruna Iddrisu as Minister-designate for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.
The Appointments Committee thoroughly vetted the nominees, assessing their qualifications, experience, and proposed ministerial plans. After careful consideration, the committee unanimously recommended their confirmation.
During a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah, Parliament engaged in extensive deliberations on the nominees’ credentials and plans to address pressing national issues. After the discussions, a vote was held, and all three nominees were approved.
Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, and Eric Opoku will now be able to take on ministerial responsibilities and contribute to the government’s development program.
