Principal of Dambai College of education (DACE) Dr . Mrs Benedicta Awusi Atiku, has led School authorities of Dambai College of Education to the rescue of Nkwanta Senior High School.
According to her, the donation was meant to support students affected by the recent conflict in Nkwanta which made several day students of the school to find refuge at the boarding facility.
Mrs Benedicta Awusi Atiku said, the gesture came on back of an appeal made by the headmaster of the affected school and other stakeholders to the office of DACE for support.
She added that, the gesture is a joined hands of the entire student body, management and staff to help ease the stress at the school.
Receiving the donation, the senior House master of Nkwanta Senior High school Mr. Fedelis Sewurah commended the principal, staff, management and the entire student body for the swift intervention while assuring that, the mattresses will be used for the intended purpose.
